Hi,

I would like to delete my account but am struggling to do so. Please could MNHQ do this for me?

No issues just concerned about data breaches across social media and would like to take myself off social media.

Thank you.

You can delete your account by going into My Mumsnet and then clicking on Settings - at the bottom of that page is the link to delete your account.

But none of your posts will be deleted. If you want that to happen you'll have to contact MNHQ to ask them to delete all your posts - including those under different NNs if you've ever NCd.

Hi there OP,

We're really sorry to hear you'd like to close your account, is there anything we can do to make you stay?

If you'd rather we de-register your account, let us know - we just thought it's best to double check first, as you won't be able to restore your account after.

Thank you both.

Unfortunately the link isn't there when I go into settings.

Anya, there is no issue I just want to delete all my social media accounts. Please could you delete my account for me?

Thanks.

The link is here www.mumsnet.com/member/registration-details. And you should see this at the bottom of that page where you can click to Delete

Today I saw a vulnerable mother ask for support and she is coming back to a nightmare thread after a transactivist derailed her support thread.

How can MNHQ alllow goady posts on ‘breast binding’, ‘hormones’ and puberty blockers, none of which were mentioned by the OP?

It’s as clear a derail as I’ve seen. The mother says' she's finding it hard to go on. MN call the cruel posts 'advice and support' and the psueudo science, debunked by the DfE and the High Court, 'opinions'.
