iPhone app - dark mode

Could we have a dark theme (white text on dark grey or black) for reading messages? I often have insomnia and find the white background far too bright. Other apps allow you to switch between bright and dark themes by dragging two fingers up or down the screen - this would be really good.

Yes please ! You can also get apps for your phone which you can set warm hues to prevent as much blue light x

We know it's not the same, but there are apps and features for a lot of phones that allow you to reduce the blue light on the screen, so those might be of some help?

On the iphone when you press the home button 3 times the page turns to black with white writing, this is what I do to read at night
