Pop up ad taking over the browser

I have just clicked onto a thread and I got this. I had to close down the browser altogether to get rid of it. Later on, before I managed to close it down, it said something about YouTube but I didn't get a screenshot.

Did you click on a thread of an ad?
Did you have any other Brower pages open ?

These are scam ads and I usually only get them when I click on a dodgy link normally within Facebook

No. It was a normal thread that appeared to load normally and then that took over the screen.

Hi there, GoodbyeSummer

Thanks for the screen shot - this doesn't look right. So we can see if this is a problem our end, can you let us know what thread you clicked on when this popped up? Also, if you could let us know which device you are using, and the browser, that would be really helpful.

In the meantime, if anyone else is having a similar issue only when on our site, do let us know here.

I think it was the thinking positively one but I don't actually remember. I didn't click on any advert. It has only happened that once but was a difficult to get out of it. I'm on chrome on an Android HTC phone.
