Return key not working.

Some people are reporting this, including myself.

I'm really puzzled why dictating 'new line' would work if typing it doesn't.

How did that happen?

@ErrolTheDragon - me too - just glad it does!

I guess it must have something to do with the way the command is processed - I’ve been googling and found a forum post on the difference in coding ‘carriage return’ and ‘line feed’, but I’ve never really got to grips with coding and I really don’t know if it’s relevant.

I wish I still had a non-work laptop so I could poke around out of curiosity- I don’t know how to do anything on an iPad.

But I can copy and paste the spacing out of Rustys post in the browser, that’s a quiet alternative for those not wanting to talk to their machines at this time of night

It's still broken on my iPad/safari this morning (I'm not on most up to date iOS though)

YEP! Still not working! Only if you type what you want to put on here, into WORD, and then copy and paste it over.

mine is broken too. It was fine yesterday but is not workign this morning.

Weird, it works if you do the dictation thing but not otherwise. Not sure how you break that,,,,🤣
