It keeps happening. I've cleared everything, but it's not fixed it. I'm using a Samsung s8 on chrome.
It also glitches and then repeats all the comments in a loop.

Yes, I get the same issue on a Sony Xperia using chrome.

NoTeaNoShadeNoPinkLemonade · 07/09/2018 11:06

same problem here..i just refresh the page and it goes back to normal

WindowsSmindows · 07/09/2018 11:07

same problem here, it comes and goes.

ohidoliketobe · 07/09/2018 12:07

Same here - android using chrome browser. One time it vanished and the page reset itself with the ad banner at thw top for novi something or other - not sure if it is connected to this ad but know every bit of detail helps you figure out the issue.

SargeantAngua · 07/09/2018 15:47

Same here with Galaxy A3 and chrome browser. I start getting flickery black boxes and if I try to scroll past the text goes funny with repeated muddled up bits of posts. Corrects itself when I refresh the page but can still come back on other pages. Tis a bit of a nuisance.

Shizzy · 08/09/2018 08:55

Same here on Samsung S7 using Chrome.

BarryTheKestrel · 09/09/2018 15:37

I've been getting this for weeks. Worse today than it has been in a while.

Chrome on Android.

These screenshots happened over the space of a few seconds. Blue bar moves, black boxes appear. Sorts itself out with a refresh but happens on average every other thread I view.

Hi folks,
This sounds annoying - we're keen to take a look.
Does refreshing get rid of the issue? Is anyone using adblock?

SargeantAngua · 09/09/2018 18:28

I've a popup blocker and "ads blocked from some sites" apparently. I do usually see ads on mumsnet though. Thinking of it, the black boxes might originate from ads at the top of the page. I'm keep my eye out...
Refreshing the page does correct it on the specific page I'm having trouble with, but it can then come up on another thread.

DeepestDarkestRiver · 10/09/2018 21:34

Same issue, on Samsung S6 using Chrome. Does seem to originate in banner ads, but then get black box further down screen. Goes away on refresh, but comes back shortly after on same page. Is now happening on every page!

AnyaMumsnet · 11/09/2018 13:09

Hi there everyone,

We're flagging this with tech again now.

gamerchick · 11/09/2018 13:12

Yes same problems here for weeks. I thought it was just my phone. I haven't found one that can cope with mumsnet for long without getting stroppy.

B00dyM4ry · 25/09/2018 22:15

I had this a few weeks ago with the M&S advert and surprise surprise it is bsck again with the new M&S ad. It puts black boxes in the thread and also jumbles the posts. A refresh of the page resets the advert and so you get a bit of normal before the advert graphics kick in.

DriveInSaturday · 01/10/2018 17:47

I've had this occasionally recently, but today it's huge blocks. I'm on Android with Chrome browser.

AliDran · 19/10/2018 19:12

I thought it was sorted, but it's back

Iscreamforbenandjerrys · 19/10/2018 19:15

Dremelza · 22/10/2018 07:41

Me too, drives me crackers!

LikeaMeteorite · 22/10/2018 07:43

Yeah I get this on my Samsung using Chrome as well.

Mabelface · 22/10/2018 07:57

Happening on nearly every thread.

SargeantAngua · 22/10/2018 12:59
