Maybe I've been asleep for a while but I'm sure that you used to physically have to 'watch' a thread for it to go on your 'I'm watching' list and you selected an option on how long you wanted a thread to stay on your 'I'm on' list.
Just noticed that every thread I've ever posted on is now on my 'watching' list! I remember putting some threads on my watching list about West Country beaches a couple of years ago and now I can't actually find them due to the unwanted 100s that have appeared.
Likewise 'I'm on', a thread has just appeared that I posted on in 2008! I'm seriously NOT interested any more in the fact that someone wanted to name their baby Oslo so I don't want it at the top of my 'I'm on' threads. I selected an option years ago that said after 3 days threads would drop off the list and I have never changed it.
MN, can I revert to the old options please?
