Aaghhhhhh....bloody flashing banner at top of 😡

Why the hell do we have to have these flashing adverts on MN?
I'm not the slightest bit interested in Boohoo, Pretty Little Things etc and even less so when they're migraine-inducing flashing banners occupying the top third of my iPad screen.
There have been complaints before so I know it's not the first time.
It's putting me off MN big time.

Sorry these ads are annoying you but we have little control on what design the advertisers choose to use - can I check if these banners have a blue icon on the top right - if so you can click on it and request not to see it again.
If you grab a screenshot next time please send to us and we will check them to ensure they are adhering to ad guidelines.

Can you clarify the reasons behind why MNHQ only respond to the threads they fancy in this forum, whilst just completely ignoring others?

Is there some sort of a system to it? Or do you all just click at random? Or just roll your eyes and back out of the ones you can't be arsed with?
