used to work okay, but say I'm trying to find all an OPs posts (as I did with the snail on the wall recently).

I used to be able to click on one of their posts and it would go to that particular post. Now it just goes to the first post on the first page.

It won't work at all for me (I just get an error message)

Hi there
Sorry to hear you're having an issue with this. Would you mind letting us know which device, browser and perhaps a screenshot of what you see?
We'll hopefully be able to get to the bottom of it with a bit more info.
Cheers,
Kim

OK, so I've just picked a random thread for this.

The one entitled "Aibu to think their is nothing wrong in sending my son" (18 Posts)

If I do a search on the OP between today and yesterday I see this.

OK..so it appears I can't snip and paste in here, so I can't show you.

Anyhow I see the first couple of sentences she wrote. However...whenever I choose one of those replies it simply goes back to her first post. I have to admit this has been happening for a while now. Previously (and for years) I was able to click on a reply after a search and it worked just fine.

I'm using a Lenova laptop and Firefox is my browser.

Don't think mumsnet are really interested in this are they? They ask for details then ignore us.

Hi there everyone - we're not ignoring you!

We've flagged it up to our tech team again so hopefully we should have a fix for this soon.

hairyscarey · 13/07/2018 14:47

Anyamumsnet - are you sure you're not ignoring us????????

We've just flagged this to our tech team again so we'll let you know where this is at as soon as they get back to us.

hairyscarey · 24/07/2018 08:08

Have all the tech team gone on holiday together then? Long holiday...since 22 June.

Hi there,

We've just caught up with tech about this and they can't replicate the problem - is this happening every time you advanced search?

Would you be able to try on a different browser and let us know what happens?

NoelHeadbands · 24/07/2018 10:40

Also happens for me on Safari.

hairyscarey · 27/07/2018 16:20

Not 100% every time, however I've just logged in with different browser (Bing) and exactly same thing is happening.

Also when I get a notification of a reply and click to see that reply it goes to the first post of that discussion...not to the reply, so I have to go to the last page to see the reply manually.

hairyscarey · 27/07/2018 16:20

Need to go back to firefox now as I the site is full of awful adverts via Bing.

AnyaMumsnet · 27/07/2018 16:49

We've just let our tech team know this is happening across different browsers - we'll let you know when there's more progress.
