Have you changed the width of threads?

Just curious. On the desktop site.

It used to be that the column displaying thread posts was narrower at the top to accommodate DOTD/links/ads/MN video etc but then after this side banner ends the thread column would widen to span the width of both columns.

Now it just stays at the thinner position for the entire thread, which looks odd (a lot of white space on my screen).

I know yesterday there was an issue with DOTD being moved to the bottom of the screen and stretched out so I assume this was broken during the fix for that, so I was wondering if it was intentional.

It happened to me yesterday. And the trending topics ended up at the bottom. It resolved itself shortly after.

Yes that box has gone back to normal for me too. The strange thing was that under that side banner a longer thread used to spread out to a wider size once you got further down the page, and now it doesn't.

I'm always taking accidental screenshots so I'm sure I can find a before and after shot.

When it happened I started a discussion on Site stuff, BUT I couldn't upload pictures, so I erased it. Despite clicking and clicking choose file, the window didn't open, so i just left it.

My DW has same issue on her iPad with Safari or Chrome - hasn't tried Firefox yet - but it's ok for me (more recent iPad, Chrome ver 66.0..). Something to do with browser versions?

I see it's been "fixed" by making the sidebar not scroll up with the page any more

Perhaps that was the intention all along...
