Deletions at poster's request

Has the policy on deletions changed?

A thread I was on earlier has been deleted and the message says it was at the OP's request.

Is that something we can do now?

The thread wasn't particularly contentious, just not going the way the OP had expected, it wasn't in AIBU and no one was rude, the majority simply pointed out why she was wrong.

All deletions are on a case by case basis and could be for any of a number of reasons. If you report this post and tell us which thread it was we can try to shed some light on the reason for you.
