Ancient thread in Trending - how come?

'24 Hours in A & E I recognise Matthew but can't place him' thread is showing top of the trending list.

Nothing has been posted on it since 2016 so whatever is it doing there??? Why is it in Trending?

I thought that was odd. Trending happens if people are viewing it, so it can become self perpetuating.

Yeah I get that, and it does sometimes happen if someone posts on a zombie thread, but it's weird that it should pop up out of nowhere when nobody has posted on it.
