Boohoo flashing ad

Is it possible to stop the BooHoo add that keeps flashing at the top of the page? It's migraine inducing! It's showing on my IPad.

Also recently you've been showing an ad for JustFashionNow, this is a scammer company based in China who fails to deliver paid for goods and those they do deliver are shoddy and not as represented.

Thanks

Hi OP,

Can we grab some screenshots of the troublesome adverts? Can we also ask what device and browser you're using?

If possible, can you click the link of the boohoo one and send us the link so that our adops team can locate it? We understand if you don't want to do this for the other but let us know.

ALSO sorry for the list - our adops team need as much info as possible before they can locate and block.

Hi sorry for the delay in replying. I'm on an iPad - search via google. Screenshot attached. I haven't seen the Just Fashion Now ad again.

I agree about the flashing BooHoo ad at the top of the page. Have also seen it down the side as well. It’s not there now of course to take a screen shot. Also on an ipad.

I know, it's making me stop using Mumsnet as it's so migraine inducing. It's still there.

Hi folks,

We're so sorry for any inconvenience this is causing.

Our adops team have blocked the advert but feel it may be coming through from a separate URL.

If you spot it again, can you please click on the advert and copy the link of the page you land on so that we can continue to block?

Hi MrsLestrade,

Is that where clicking the ad took you? Is that the only URL you've got?

Just to confirm, was it the same flashing advert as above?

MrsLestrade · 10/06/2018 16:11

Yes that is where it took me. It's not just the Booho one there seems to be almost constant flashing and moving banner ads now. It's very distracting. I appreciate you need ads to generate revenue but could you limit the moving and flashing ones as they induce migraines.
