Where has this button come from?!

Hi mumsnet- clicked on a thread and a ‘watch this thread’ button appeared in the OP. Where did that come from?!

samanthasung - realtime , live action unfolds.....perhaps car parking issues could be resolved this way?

LondonGin - we've just taken another look at your screenshots - and realised it's not as exciting as we first thought. Sadly, that button has been around sometime but we wonder if it's moved position on your screen so it's loads more noticeable now? Is it obscuring any of the OP itself?

No it’s in the OP box literally as it appears in the screen shots.
The button is only acessabily if you click on the arrow at the top of the right hand corner menu and click ‘watch this thread’ - how do you get a watch this thread button in the OP?!

It seems our lovely tech team were carrying out some tests on this button and forgot to mention it . We've forgiven them now, it was just a one off, we hope you can too.
They were testing a new design and position for the button on that particular thread - what did you reckon, was it easier to find, more useful? As always, all feedback most welcome!
