For the love of Geoff do something about Zombie threads.

There are two Zombie threads in active at the moment.
Not ones that have anything to do with something useful, for example how to get out a stain or is my period normal, just crap. One is from November about the 2 minutes silence.
No good reason to dig it up again. The poster who reanimated it is just chatting away to the OP like it was yesterday. There is another one that is about nothing much which is about 3 months old.

Now I know there is a warning when the person who resurrects it posts but please in the name of all that is good and holy will you put some kind of sign at the top of the thread or the OP saying - 'this OP is from 3 year/ 3 months/ 6 months ago'.
It could be added to any post that has been dormant for more that 2 months say.

I know the argument to this is usually that it might scare of newbies but it's never a well meaning newbie who resurrects threads.

I’m going to say this again. Seeing as it got ignored last time.
The sodding carpet fitter thread is back.

Please put something in the message box or a big flashing light on the op.

I agree with you, Simon.

But I have to say that the zombie revival of the carpet fitter thread is hilarious now. The OP has even returned to it!!
