Hi,
When C&P from a recipe thread where the op's posts are in a green background, when copied into word the green background is copied too making it quite hard to read, I'm sure this didn't used to happen, can anyone help please?

Paste it into Notepad first, it will remove all of the formatting.

You can go to your ‘Mumsnet settings and change the colour of the OPs background, then copy.

You could always log out before copying the recipe, which will then have the white background.

That's assuming you remember your password so that you can log back in again!!

Thats strange but easily fixed. Instead of using paste, click paste special and then use unformatted text. More details on this link -

Are you screen shotting an image or copying text? Sounds more like an image.

Hi OP,
Can you tell us what device you are using to C&P?

Sorry I didn't come back to this before now and thank you everyone, I used the paste special/unformatted text Grin
