Buggy day, MN?

I keep having random intermittent bugs with the site today.

Android phone V8.0.0, Chrome V66.0.3359.158

The quick links to my threads, most recent etc keep coming and going.

I am also being repeatedly asked if I'm ok with cookies on multiple pages despite having clicked yes several times.

I was getting this, for about an hour or so

Error code 20
The proxy failed to connect to the web server, due to TCP connection timeout.

That was perhaps about three hours ago.

Strange advertising at the top of this page just now!

The back button has gone completely mad again. It’s so annoying!

Agreed - back now takes me to my home page of Google!

I've had the cookies thing too and my buttons keep disappearing from the bottom of my screen (I know they're not actually called buttons but don't know what they are called...active, watching etc)

Yep, the back button issue again — it had got less frequent recently though never stopped entirely. To be brutally honest, if this is how I solved problems within my remit at work I wouldn’t have a job for long! Of course glitches will arise in any site but letting it drag in for so many months is unprecedented. I have no doubt that @MNTech staff are capable and competent, so clearly user convenience/enjoyment is just not a priority for them and @MNHQ. Of course we all know that if adverti$ers had an issue it would be fixed sharpish.

I’ve never to my recollection threatened to flounce but at some point the annoyance outweighs the enjoyment.
