View specific user's posts in a thread

Apologies if this has been asked before, I couldn't find any results in search.

Is there a way to view a specific user's posts in a thread? So if you're looking at a user's posting history and click on one of their posts is there a way to just view that particular post and not have to scroll through the whole thread looking for their reply? At the moment when I click on a post from post history it just brings me to the beginning of whatever thread its in.

It does that on desktop. You click on the post you want to see, and it takes you to it.

I just use the "find in page" feature on my browser and type the person's name in.

AuntieStella, I was trying on desktop and it wouldn't work. Every time I clicked on a post it brought me to the first page of the thread Confused

You should be able to change it by going to your Preferences

Let us know if that doesn't work and we'll look into it some more.

So I experimented on my own post history today and seems that if a reply is on the first page of a thread it will take me directly to that post (automatically scroll down page to post, etc.)
However if a reply is on any other page than the first, clicking on a post just brings me to the first page of the thread Confused

Hi Cherry - same for me! I'll flag with the tech wizards, see if there's anything we can do.

Before we pass it over, can we ask what device and browser you're using to access the site?

Thanks, I'm having the issue on an android mobile with Chrome and also windows 10 laptop with Chrome
