Pray do elaborate - do you mean campaigning type surveys? Examples please (suppose I could look, but 'tis against my principles..)

Oh I don't know if they are campaigning ones, it's a lomg time since I looked at them myself:P - but when you click on the thread the first post will have the survey options on them and then you can post comments normally below, Here's one on RichardDawkins.net) that might give you an idea.
