Jumping from mobile site to desktop

I was reading a thread. Clicked "I'm on". I was taken to I'm on but on the desktop site (which is murder to use on phone!). Clicked back button back to mobile site. Tried again - same thing happened. Tried active threads - same again

NO option to switch to mobile site either (or I can't bloody find it)

What's going on? I'm on iPhone safari

At the very bottom (it's the last thing on the page) of the page there is a button that says "Mobile site". Click on that.

It shouldn't be switching randomly, though.

That's where I was looking but it wasn't there. It is now but I'm wondering what'll happen next!
