Hi EveningHare that sounds pretty annoying, we'll see what we can do to help.

Usual Q's - what device/browser are you using and do you see the same ad banner/error message if you log on using a different device?

We'll pass this over to our ads team now so they can see what's what.

FlissMumsnet · 01/05/2018 17:03

Hi EveningHare just so we're clear - was it the Amazon ad or the banner right at the top of the page?

Adops think you may be seeing the usual view so we'd like to be really certain which bit is annoying you the most

TheHobbitMum · 01/05/2018 17:12

Hare I also get that on every employment post! I've stopped reading them now as I have to scroll past a full page to read the post, very annoying!

MNHQ If it helps using latest Android on S8 and Chrome although I also see same banner on my Samsung tablets all using latest android OS & Chrome

EveningHare · 01/05/2018 18:08

Yup
It's the employment banner
I didn't even register the Amazon ad funnily enough

Also on S8 etc

Hi,

Are you referring to the blue Mumsnet work 'Find the perfect family friendly job ' that appears within the thread?

Oh blimey yes that gigantic fills-the-whole-screen banner is beyond annoying.

PooFlower · 02/05/2018 14:31

This really annoys me too. I keep thinking I've accidentally clicked on an advert and pressing the back button only to realise it is on the thread.

EveningHare · 02/05/2018 15:31

Yes this
The thing that fills up the whole bloody page
