So many deleted threads...

I know MNHQ have to keep on top of it.
But it's frustrating when practically every thread you've posted on in one evening have had to be deleted.
The latest one I was about to post on (hadn't even posted on it!) MN said something about sock puppets??
I have no idea what's going on, but it's frustrating.

Oh I do agree samcro... It's just when you go to threads I'm on and they're all blanked out...
That's all I meant. Not mnhq, but the posters causing it if you see what I mean.

Sorry if you've found some of the threads you've posted on in good faith taken down tonight - we hate removing threads as we totally understand how frustrating this is.

Unfortunately, we had a spate of threads where it looks like the OP was most likely a troll, and also sock puppeting on the boards. Just in case you're not sure, sock puppeting is where the same person comments on the boards under a few different user names so is effectively speaking with themselves.

We do try to get to these threads as soon as possible so as to avoid folk getting drawn into them unnecessarily . When a few similar threads start at once, it makes it trickier to get to them as quickly as we would like. It looks like this could well have happened here, and we're sorry about that.

Why we've had so many tonight, I couldn't say. When in doubt, blame the weather.
