Deja Vu - duplicate threads on another forum

I frequent two forums - this, and MoneySavingExpert.

Today I've identified two threads that have appeared verbatim - both thread title and opening post - on both forums within minutes of each other. I've reported both on both forums for investigation. It's too much to be a coincidence, so I'm suspecting some kind of conversation-generating (and potentially data harvesting) spambot.

I wouldn't mind but, come on, I'm only two forums - I want to read different things Grin Grin Grin

Oh blimey, that's all we need.... Will pass this on to tech asap for investigation. We can see that you have reported in so will pass those on too.

Didn't mean to scare - bad phrasing - I think I meant "response harvesting" rather than "data harvesting". As in "when asked about their least favourite country, people named their own country" ...

I have written duplicate posts when I haven’t received comments on other forum (or vice versa). I wouldn’t duplicate the post word for word and only ever for genuine support.
I didn’t realise you weren’t supposed to??
... I’m not the poster you are referring to btw as never go on moneysavingexpert.
