It's a cute bear, thanks DawnMumsnet, but it's not a dog or a cat.

I think it'd be nice to have a dog emoji for use in the Doghouse; it makes no sense to post a bear pic next to a post about a dog.

Same for cat/Litterbox.

Why do you need to post a dog emoji or a cat emoji? I get the faces as they are used to add ‘tone’ to posts and can soften what might read like a sarcastic post (etc) but pictures of animals etc just seem pointless.

We don't need emojis. We're all adults and can use words.

There's a bear, a santa, a football, and even a glitterball which I've never seen used. All I asked for was a dog and a cat.
