Every time I open the Mumsnet app on my iPhone a pop up appears saying “you are unable to purchase anything through iTunes at this time” or something similar to this.
Any ideas?

Here is the screen shot. It will not let me access the site until I press ok?

Even if I just swap apps, eg I just read a WhatsApp message, and then come back to where I was the pop up still comes up.

Hi @canyouhearme123,

As pjdays has pointed out, this is possibly an Apple issue rather than a Mumsnet one. But we'll certainly flag this to our Tech team to see if there's anything that can be done about it from our end.

Many thanks for all the lovely screenshots! Very helpful indeed. Smile

Hi guys, thanks for reporting this. The issue is actually a problem with Apple, and to be clear Mumsnet Talk does not make any purchases.

It's a strangely-worded error that was triggered by the App Store going down, as you can see here. Everything appears to be working again now, let us know if it isn't.
