Taking ages to remove spam messages in local group

Hi MNHQ. My local group was spammed by a local estate agent yesterday afternoon (almost 24 hours ago). They posted job ad messages to 5 threads - some of them zombies. I reported it, but they haven't been removed yet. How long should this take? If advertisers think their spam will persist for so long then it's an incentive for them to ignore the rules and post it anyway.

We're really sorry for the delay here - ordinarily we'd hope to have any reported spam removed before the day is out (and usually far sooner than that), but we've been incredibly busy this past 24 hours.

Just letting you know that we've zapped all of these spam posts now and shown the spammer the door.
