That's an AdChoice ad, you can tell by the little blue arrow at the top right hand corner. Have you been Googling anything to do with prisons?

Yes as Pan says that type of ad uses cookies from your search engine so is chosen as they think it reflects your current interests.

Not ignoring you here, it's just that unfortunately I am clueless as to how these AdChoice ads work. PanPanPanPing sounds pretty on the money, although we can see that for some of you this still doesn't quite add up. I'll flag this all over to someone with more nous than I so they can update you on how it all works.

If you are getting ads through that are offensive, eyebrow raising, or otherwise disconcerting, then do get straight back in touch.
