Is there a way of using the search function and limiting your search to posts in say, feminism chat, or AIBU?

If I am searching a key phrase, it would be useful to limit it to the board I know it's on. Saves trawling through endless suggestions.

And can you search for keywords contained in messages in your inbox?

I'm trying to find old message, can't remember the poster, can't remember the title - but can remember what it was about!

Yes. Advanced Search and choose the boards you want by selecting 'choose topics' and adding the boards to the right hand side by clicking the arrow

Google advanced search is also useful for board searches

Is that choose topics option only available on the desktop site?

On my phone, if I click the down arrow I don't get it. If I choose customise from that, it just offers me the option of leaving out the sen boards.
