Threads disappearing?

I'm a bit confused - when a thread is deleted does it just disappear? I thought you could usually still see it and read the deletion message. There was one I was following this morning relating to fundraising (mainly watching to see what MN's response would be) but it's disappeared from my watch list. I've noticed this with a few recently. Can someone enlighten me?!

I thought once it's been deleted it's gone for good?

Perhaps that's where I'm getting confused - I though the title stayed in your watch list but when you clicked there would just be a deletion message? Maybe I imagined it!

Yes I think there is for a short time but then it disappears.

Hi flugelhorn3. I think we've quite recently passed over comments to the app developers saying that some folk would find it pretty useful if the deletion messages could hang around a while longer. We'll see where we are with that and get back.
