I’m fed up to the back teeth with this appearing and if you click to leave the bullshite it opens up the whole crap ad. The only way I can get out of it is to close the page and open up a new Mumsnet page.

I’m getting prize pop ups too. It’s incredibly annoying.

I’m ready for throwing this phone across the fecking room! These ads are getting ridiculous now. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve had to close the page and start again! 🤬

Have you deleted your browser history? That helped for me a while ago with adult pop-ups on MN. Happy to offer a good home to any unwanted iPhones 😁.

If I’m looking at MN on my phone and it pops up, I find if I click the bogus “close” link and it takes me to another scam page, then I can press the “back” option at the bottom left of the screen and I get a list of recent web pages. If I click the page I’d just been on then it takes me back to where I’d been when the twatting message appeared.

I need to hold my finger on the “back” button - pressing on it once does nothing

We are really sorry this issue continues to persist, we have been investigating with our partners and it seems that whatever was causing this issue last week has managed to cache itself in your phone's memory - can we please request you clear your cache and let us know if this fixes the popup from appearing.

To clear your cache for safari browsers you simply need to go into your settings, click on safari and clear history and website data.

Please let us know if this does the trick?
