Random porn music

Been getting this for a few days, off and on. Music starts up randomly, like some awful 70s porn film music is the best I can describe it

I'm definitely not clicking on anything, just hovering the mouse over the page as I'm reading threads and not always on the right the page where the clickable ads, videos are . It's loud, intrusive and very annoying.

Hmm. This is really odd! Is it still happening? We may need you to try and record this for us so that we can see/hear it in action. Would that be a possibility?

I get this occasionally, and it's ALWAYS at night time. Usually when I'm messing around on the laptop when DH is asleep, so as you can imagine, he doesn't appreciate it. I assumed it was from an advert - I never have time to investigate because I obviously need to stop it blaring up DH's ear as quickly as possible.

When this happens, if possible, try and record it so we can hear. Alternatively, screenshot it if there are any visuals.

Right, I think I've found the culprit - it's an advert for something called Trendtation. Screenshot attached, I hope.

Sorry, I've only just come back to this. I used Soundhound to identify the music, it's Enter The Light by Bertysolo, just instrumental as far as I've heard. I always scrabble to mute it too as it's always late at night and worry the neighbours will hear! It's usually when I have the mouse hovering over what appears to be blank screen on the left side.

Any news? It's just popped up and woken DH yet again. OK, I know I shouldn't be MNing in bed at this time of night, but it's so bloody irritating. And I have to say I seriously doubt that that ad has tempted one single person to buy their product - I certainly am never going to.

Oh yes, it's still there! Unfortunately had the volume high on my desktop and it's just done it again, made me jump!

That Trendtation ad wasn't on the page it happened on.

We think we have found the annoying ad- and it has now been blocked.
