Why can't I remove topics from favourites on app?

My 10 year old son has recently passed away and I need to remove some topics from my favourites as I find them too upsetting but I can't seem to do it. None of the topics I've favourited seem to be starred so I can't unfavourite them. I've tried favouriting and unfavouriting two topics again and now they are showing up twice in my favourites 🙁

We'll do our best to help you hide the topics that are no longer relevant to you - could we just ask what app you're using? Is it the Iphone app or the android app?

Thank you Lorna. I'm using android. It's the SEN and SN education I'm trying to hide. I was following them as ds was being statemented before he passed.

We're just waiting to hear back from our app development team about this but in the meantime, would it be possible to try hiding the topics from the desktop or mobile site?

I'll see if I can give it a go.
