I keep getting logged out on my iPad

Hi there, it’s been a few weeks now that as soon as I switch windows, I find I have to log in again.

Me too!! But I'm on an iPhone 6. TBH, I've pretty much stopped coming on and posting as cba to log in every time.

And this is on Safari, which i think is the browser built into the iPad. Perhaps that’s the common denominator Summer?

Are you by any chance logging in on another device? If I log in on my PC (and, as usual on this shared device, log out) my iPad gets logged out too. Bloody annoying, as with my outdated OS I can only type two characters of my password at at time, while the box appears and disappears...

(And I haven't been able to use MN on Safari for ages, I'm on Opera now.)

Yes it is Safari. I'm not logged in on any other device.

Have you ticked the 'stay logged in' box? If yes, then this shouldn't happen, if no it will log you out on every device you were previously logged in on.

Ok, try this, go into settings, then into safari. Make sure block all cookies is turned off. See if that makes a difference

Ha! Yes done that. I suspect it’s a more fundamental software glitch. Hopefully someone from mumsnet HQ will comment once the working week starts.

Thanks for flagging this one and sorry to hear you're having issues here. As ever, we need to run through what's going on so can we just confirm (sorry to be annoying) that the 'keep me logged in' box is ticked, and that you're not signing into another device or account and switching between them?

It is happening to me as well-in my iPhone.
so annoying. am def ticking "keep me logged in"
I do go from laptop to shine but don't log out on laptop ever

Yes, I'm also using multiple devices (ipad, iphone and occasionally a PC browser running Google Chrome), but the 'keep me logged in' box is ticked in all instances.
