Reporting - Spam -v- Other

When reporting, there are two options, spam or other.

I rarely see spam (though that could be that MNHQ spot it themselves or posters report it super quickly) and so generally use the 'other' and then explain why.

I wonder whether it might make more sense for the reporting to be along the following line, say:

• spam
• troll hunting
• troll
• personal attack
• other

These are presumably the most common reasons for reporting

Thanks for the suggestion! We'll pass it on and have a chat about it.

But surely 'other' gives you the opportunity to explain why you're reporting it? After all, there is a message box where you can explain your concerns.

If MNHQ give a variety of reporting options then (a) I can imagine that some people might not be sure about which option to click on and (b) Tech will have to change the database for all the reporting options. And then who knows where all the reports will end up?!

I think that Spam and Other probably works fine. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!

I find 'eyebrows' fits all eventualities.

But there should be a few other options than there are now I agree.
