It may just be me, but I really don't like the way the Work pages are organised.

Employment issues - sounds very negative

Then all the other topics are quite specific.

I work full time. Have kids. Do a lot of other stuff. It's a juggle. I often have questions for the MN audience about balance, about 'how did you deal with', or about 'what about when THIS happens'.

Employment issues doesn't cut it for me. This is the normal sh*t that happens when you're a working parent (male or female). Where should I be posting it?

Please can we have a topic that is just about that whole work/life thing that every normal parent (male or female) these days has to run with? Rather than it be 'issues' (which to me sounds like it should be about constructive dismissal, or sexual harassment). This is life today. Can we make a place to help people deal with it please. Ta.

Hi @RandomHouseRules and thanks for flagging this up. We hear you - it can be a bit of a relentless struggle juggling kids and work can't it?

It's definitely always handy to be able to ask other MNers going through the same thing.

It looks like some posters use the general 'Parenting' topic here for these sorts of queries so you may have some luck there.

But we take your points on board and will raise them at HQ.
