What the I️ ?

I️ replied to a poster this morning who had all these throughout her post. Made it jolly difficult to read but I️ persevered.

Now every time I️ type the letter I️ it changes the I️ into this. I️ . Argh!

But not just in Mumsnet. In my emails to. WTF? How do I️ get rid of this problem?!

How could this have happened? Is anyone else suffering from this keyboard malfunction? Those that do, say aye!

I thought it was a problem with my phone reading it...

What are you on about? When you type an I, it actually looks like an I? I'm failing to see the issue?

I read on reddit about a phone Update causing this, sorry I can't find the details now but if you Google your phone and update you might find how to fix

You might have to screenshot OP, because your I's look completely normal to me.

On my phone it looks like all the “I”s in the OPs post are bolded.

Now that really has freaked me out. Others can’t see my problem? I️ haven’t updated my phone recently. I’ll try to attach a screen shot. Why did the I️ Work just then but morning now? Whoa!

I'm seeing the same as the OP - safari on iPhone ios10

So I’ve just updated my phone and guess what? I have I again! I feel so happy and will never take I for granted again. Love I.
