how do i attach a photo to a post?

Little paperclip near the message box.

MrsHathaway · 11/11/2017 21:09

Under the text window there's a paperclip icon for attachments. Click on it then follow the directions to choose an image from file, or use your device to take a photo.

Slightly different directions for desktop site and mobile site but that's where you start both times.

If you're using the app I have no idea!

sphinxnile · 11/11/2017 21:42

Got it thanks!

On Firefox using Windows. There's no paper clip or anything to attach photos.

I would attach a screen shot Grin

PanPanPanPing · 12/11/2017 15:16

Here's a screenshot for you sagamartha!

On the desktop site you go to the 'Choose File' options down there ⬇

sagamartha · 12/11/2017 17:12

Ah. I think my adblock is blocking that Grin

PanPanPanPing · 13/11/2017 17:32

Why would your Adblock, block or conceal the 'add images' bit?

Sorry, saga, I realise this is a MN tech problem, rather than yours, but how very peculiar Confused

Jass001 · 30/08/2018 10:13

Test

AnyaMumsnet · 30/08/2018 14:40

Hi there @sphinxnile,

We're glad this seems to be sorted, but give MNHQ a shout if you have any more problems.

Faresin · 14/11/2018 09:18

I literally have post and preview, no other options, someone did it may be be use I'm a newbie but in the case what is the point in joint a group like this if you can't post photos for advice? I would screenshot my options but I cant 😂

Ash13490 · 24/10/2019 22:27

Zoexoxo · 14/11/2019 21:33

LouMumsnet · 16/11/2019 16:46

Thanks for letting us know and sorry to hear a few of you are still having troubles - can you send us a mail to [email protected] and we'll have a look into it for you.

Lizashar26 · 01/12/2019 17:52

No paper clip sign. How do I post picture to ask for help?

LouMumsnet · 01/12/2019 22:36

Hi there, @Lizashar26 - sorry to hear this. Would you mind letting us know which device you're on and also, if you can take a screenshot of what you're seeing, that would be really helpful.

We'll do our best to help!

Lizashar26 · 01/12/2019 23:20

It says I am new so can't post pictures

burnoutbabe · 15/12/2019 11:38

I am on an iPhone and thought I had an issue posting pics via the app.
But it's seems to be okay to attach some pics from my library but others it just won't add to the preview at all. No difference that I can see, all taken by my phone so should be same resolution/size. It's weird!

DarlingNicki · 11/02/2020 11:05

I don't have any options to add pictures either on desktop. Is it because I am new?

LilyMumsnet · 12/02/2020 17:46

Yes - there's a 48 hour waiting period before users are able to post pictures. Flowers

Chloesimpson · 12/04/2020 18:35

Can anyone tell me what this is at 35 weeks? Had a warm trickle this morning, and continued all day

Chloesimpson · 12/04/2020 18:36

Not letting me add a phote

Wildflower28 · 03/06/2020 20:25

Sorry to jump on the post but I was looking for some advice please.

I am now 10dpo, I took a clear blue test was at 7dpo and a first response at 9dpo. There is a clear line on the clear blue test but does anyone know if this could be what they call an evaporation line as the first response shows a clear negative?!! (I cannot post a photo for some reason as I’m a new user!! Helpful).

I have been having cramps and pelvic/back pain since 7dpo, nausea, sickness, headaches, heartburn etc but as the first response test was a negative result I wonder if these are symptoms of AF (due in 4 days). Help please!
