Goods not received!

I purchased a dvd through mumsnet on 2nd April, told it was posted on 3rd but have not received it

I sent and email to the lady I bought it from Sarah165 - but no reply to my email and no response to the dispute I made thru paypal.

Is this common on mumsnet? I am pretty new to this site and feel a right mug now! I certainly won't be using the classifieds again. I noticed a thread for posting on after buying/selling - but all good and happy comments. Can I put a complaint on there?

I would. But just did a little search on her name and it appears she isn't a regular poster, just put a few things up for sale.

But there are loads of brilliant, genuine sellers on here. I think if you want to buy in future, do a little search on their name, see if they are on mn a lot, if they've sold stuff before, if they are "known" on here.

thanks for your message - I didn't know you could do searches. I know most members are genuine - I suppose I should be thankfull I only lost a few pounds and not a larger amount.
