Mumsnet, can you please please please remove the top bar that remains at the top of the page when you are scrolling through talk threads declaring to all and sundry that can see your screen that you are on Mumsnet

Why?

I would have thought it was pretty self explanatory from my post I don't want everyone who happens to be nearby to see that the website I happen to be on is Mumsnet

Just what I thought pax. The fact that I'm an MNer is well known. I tend to brag about all the free stuff I get through product testing.

IIRC, many years ago, when 'all round here were fields', I think MN had a variety of different 'views/layouts' (whatever the correct terminology is)? Possibly one which wasn't obvious. But that all went by the board a few years ago.

Weren't those just colour schemes, PanPanPanPing? Forest or in-your-face-pink? I don't remember, I loathe change and if a webpage is Alizarin crimson and blinks every few seconds I want it to stay that way, comic sans and all.
