Funny line across the screen - iPhone

I am getting a line across the screen whenever I am on MN and have done for a couple of days. It looks like it is my phone screen but only appears when on MN. And strangely it is not on this page!

It's because of the ads at the top of the page apparently.

I get that on my android too.

it’s a small thing but I am trying to work out if it is my phone or the site. Like I said though, it only appears on MN

Ah! Now I have an ad blocker so is that something to do with it?

It's been mentioned on the other countless threads complaining about the new ads on MN.

In the meantime, can we ask what iPhone you're using, and which browser?

The class leaderboard_advertising has a bottom border in the css of 1px (which shows regardless of adblock/no adblock) which is why the line is showing, it's just a bit more obvious with adblock on as there isn't the advert to distract from it.

Got a horrible flashing pac-man piece of crap right now, off centre yet still annoying as hell.

I have this too! Safari on iPhone SE. It’s so distracting.

Not just iPhone. I'm on a Samsung s7 using chrome. I don't have adblock either.

iPhone 6, same issue, only mumsnet, fine on everything else!

It's only on mumsnet as it's a styling they have in their css (to put a bottom 1px border on that class), they just need to remove it, It's a one line css fix, should be quick to do.

I get it too only on MN
I was trying the cm scratch at the screen as its a line thats a 1/4 way down the screen and looks like a scratch
The screen is smooth so it's not my phone

I’m having this in my iPad too.
