Idreamofdaleks · 12/04/2007 18:12

I would like to request a new topic just for flouncing messges about who has flounced off and who thinks mumsnet has changes and is not as it used to be

Can we also choose for this category not to be displayed like you can for chat?

Vote if you think this is a good idea...

[flounce]

filthymindedvixen · 12/04/2007 18:16

what about a ''should I flounce...?'' thread like AIBU.

and then we can have a straw poll. Now who's brave enough to step up first.....?

GibbonInARibbon · 12/04/2007 18:36

oohhhh 'should I flounce?' sounds like a great one

OrvilleRedenbacher · 13/04/2007 18:44

ooh yes

DarrellRivers · 13/04/2007 18:45

and then most likely everyone would pile in and say 'yes'
tears before bedtime i think so good idea

Greenleeves · 13/04/2007 18:49

That would be so cool. The number of times I have wanted to post a "right, that's it fuck the lot of you, I'm OFF ", but have had to resist because 1) I can't flounce, I'm addicted, and 2) there's that horrible gnawing certainty that nobody would give a leper's handshake if I fell down a manhole and never came out

But a "should I flounce" section would create exactly the right setting for decanting those feelings of "I am pissed off enough to flounce right now" without actually having to go through with it [garble burble]

DarrellRivers · 13/04/2007 18:54

but what if everyone said you should go, might be a

Greenleeves · 13/04/2007 18:56

Well, yes, but then you could just tell them to go piss up a rope

filthymindedvixen · 13/04/2007 19:06

'sactly Greeny!
