Advertising - just curious

Have MN changed their advertising methods?

I have got ads for some of the most hideous items of clothing, never clicked on anything vaguely similar in my life.

also had some ads for toys, quoted in $$ rather than ££, so just curious to know if adverts are being handled differently.

Maybe they're appearing in the AdChoices boxes?

no, it seems more like they are appearing at the top where the ad choices used to be and I saw relevant ads, but the last couple of days they have been the most bizarrely irrelevant ads, can't be targeted, so I was thinkng MN had maybe made a change in terms of companies buying top banner.

that said, today it's back to normal which is good.
