Deleted threads

I was on two threads recently and they were both 'taken down' to look behind the sceens

Are they ever going to come back?

I dont care if they are deleted...i just want to know why

Hi @ToniMumsnet please can I also ask if the "To have politely corrected her?" thread will be coming back? It was pulled with the same "we'll take a look at it" message yesterday - last post was at 19.22 if it helps

A slightly contentious subject admittedly, but it's not as if there'd been widespread deletions and a lot of us were saying we'd learned a heck of a lot from that thread

It's absolutely not my decision to make of course, but I just wondered if a few posters reporting a thread they happen to dislike - even if it's not actually breaking talk guidelines - is enough to get the whole thing pulled now?
