Local mumsnet stuff at the bottom suddenly changed location

No idea why but i have no connection with Southwark so would like it to flip back to my actual local pages. What do I do?

Same here. I've moved from Cambridge to Exeter apparently.

I think that box shows where your device thinks you are, rather than it being linked to your own MN Local.

For me it did originally show my own area in London, but the other day I'd Googled a pub in Dulwich and now, apparently, I'm in the Dulwich/Lewisham area - which I am not!!

I haven't left the town all week and haven't googled Southwark!

And I've now moved to Coventry! Think I'll stop looking at the local boxes at the bottom now!

First image is where MN Local thinks I live in Dulwich/Lewisham (although I don't!) But if you look at that box/ad, it's 'in partnership with Co-Op' - so presumably some kind of AdChoice thingy paid for by the Co-op?

But if you click on your 'MN Local pin' (second pic), presumably it takes you to your correct area - assuming you registered with that in the first place?

Mine doesn't seem to have a clue. The one at the bottom of a chat page is all over the shop, but also bears no relation to what I get if I click on the arrow?

Mine is currently showing one thread from Wales, one from the West Country and one from East Anglia. I'm in the middle of England and haven't been to any of these places in a very long time.

Mine was showing Portsmouth, now Cambridge. But on the bottom of google is my correct location every time so god knows where they are getting their data from.

Mine thinks I'm in Ceredigion. Now, I've never been to Wales and until half an hour ago, I'd never heard of Ceredigion. However, I googled an actor to find out where I'd seen him before and on Wikipedia, it informed me he was born in Ceredigion.

So it's somehow picked it up from there presumably or it's a massive coincidence.

My Wales one was Ceredigion too. AFAIK I've never googled it.
