Yeah, it's definitely hiding threads in the topics I've hidden from Active Convos! Because when I put a topic back in to view, the thread now appears in TIO.

Worth adding that when I tried on the mobile site earlier I wasn't even able to unhide topics from Active.

Everything else about TIO seems to be working fine for me.

I've not hidden the the thread I'm talking about. It's just not showing. waah.

Have you hidden the section the thread is in from Active?

My comment was split over two pages which makes it harder to see. But yeah - I'd expect a thread I'd hidden not to turn up but I'm finding that suddenly any topics I've hidden from Active are being excluded from TIO as well.

That's a problem partly because I sometimes post in sections you can't opt in to see in Active but also because many MNers use the hide topic function as a way of reducing the amount of bloat on Active Convos as the site is now so fast moving. But it doesn't mean that you never have cause to post in the topics you've hidden, I just don't want to come across them casually while browsing for new threads to read.

If you're on the desktop site you can go into Customise and it's right at the bottom: Manage your list of hidden topics. If you're on mobile, errrrr, you're SOL. Sorry!

I remember loads of us did it back when the topic list started to get ridiculous. You were around then so it's not unlikely you'd have done it too.

Oh sorry! It's the little drop down by Talk at the top. It took me ages to find it a few weeks ago for something else.

I'm still having problems - only one post shown (mine) in one particular thread I recently posted on, whereas the thread had four or five new posts.

PC, Windows 10.

And will I have to go back to my settings to restore my preference of 50 (iirc) threads? Because it seems I have a default of 20 operating right now.

Still problems with my phone on desktop setting.
Watch list comes up but there is a huge gap/blank space and I have to scroll down for ages before threads appear all small and squished up.

Although TIW is back and includes one I follow daily.... it only shows the last 4 posts.

It used to be that it showed the last time I looked at it, so I could click on the last post I viewed and go back to where I was.

I can't do that now and have to scroll up and find the time that I think I last viewed it.

Last Day still only showing 20/50 threads here and Bookmarks not taking me back to the Bookmarked place!

Can't add to TIW & none of the TIO (since yesterday) are showing up.

Page is jumping around, getting bigger and smaller, and still massive gap where I have to scroll down for ages to find the threads!

And its freezing every couple of minutes and needs rebooting.

I'm also not delirious about it only showing the most recent posts. Are we meant to check back so periodically that we'll remember how far we got up to?

More annoyingly, Threads I'm on and Threads I'm Watching seem to randomly exclude some of the threads I've posted on, such as the new Archers thread.

Ironically it registers this one as a thread I'm on.

Mine came back, but still not working properly. The post I just posted is not on TIO or TIW. Very annoying to go search the topic, etc and get to the thread I was on!
