I no longer have access to my MN e-mail account so can someone tell me why my post was deleted?

Following the J scandal I changed MN e-mail account and set-up a random one which I can no longer remember the password to.
So just now I was deleted on a thread telling a woman that she 'rather sounded awful' and was reported. I now see my post was deleted... Why? I had said a few other things in that post and I know HQ is into the habit of deleting just because someone said something someone didn't like but why that message??? I'm thinking that it shouldn't be deleted because it expressed my personal view and thoughts on that thread which was very charging but I was quite gathered and fine about it.
Can someone please explain why I was deleted? Or is this because whenever someone doesn't like something you're willing to follow suit?

Well you get deleted if you breach guidelines:-

Personal insults
Troll hunting
Racist
Disablist
And other things too

Presumably telling someone they sound awful is a personal insult.

I got deleted for saying something was "unbelievable" the other day.

But I deserved it.

Because I was actually troll hunting. Happy to admit that.

I guess a personal attack.

Saying someone sounds awful could be viewed as one. You'd have been better saying something like "what you've said about x sounds awful" yo make it clear it's the opinion not the person you're criticising.

You don't get an email if a post is deleted do you?

I'm sorry you're upset, I reported that post because you said the op was a horrific person, which I think is a personal attack.

It was a very charged thread (for me) in that respect and I agree it was against TG.

Can I change my e-mail just via settings? Luckily I still remember my password for settings changes but not the e-mail account password I subscribed with.
