How do I close/delete a thread? Sorry I'm new to this!

You can report your thread and ask MNHQ to do.it but unless you have a good reason to they won't delete it

Can't see them deleting your thread though tbh it has to have a really good reason like being identifying etc If it's your benefits thread it's probably highly unlikely they'll remove it.

Well they did delete it. I didn't see the deletion message on the thread and I wasn't around at the end of it but it's becoming increasingly apparent that of people post without thinking, make fools of themselves and the thread doesn't go as they envisaged MNHQ are prepared to take it down. You don't even have to cite privacy concerns any more.

Ffs that's ridiculous so basically any time a thread doesn't go someone's way they can get it removed. There was nothing on that thread that warranted deletion
