Going directly to a poster's comment: how?

Example:

I notice a poster called, say, "RANDOM" making especially funny comments on a MNClassics thread.
Decide I'd like to read more of her humour.

So I Advanced Search RANDOM to find if/where she's since posted.

The A.S. list tells me she has 5 comments on a long AIBU.

Clicking on 2 of them takes me directly to those (hers), yet the other 3 just take me to the thread OP's title post...meaning I then have to scroll past a few hundred of everyone else's, just to read RANDOM's witty remarks.

Ain't nobody got time for that!

What am I doing wrong?

You should be able to hit Ctrl and F at the same time. This will bring up a little search box on the page of the thread (or anywhere you want to look, really!)

Paste the username into that box and click the arrows to jump straight to their posts!

Is there a way to do it on an iPhone?

It's so frustrating having to scroll through pages and pages to get to a certain post.

Type in the address bar and instead of hitting return, hold down the drop-down menu and Google will give you the option to "search on this page." You should then have a (semi) permanent search window at the bottom of the screen.

Searching is also easier if you switch your page settings to show the maximum number of posts possible per page.

Here's to a future with minimal scrolling

On an Iphone use the drop down arrow at the top of the thread to change to "show all messages", then type the OP's name or other keyword in the browser search box, this gives you the option to search the page or search google, search the page and use the arrows at the bottom to toggle through.

Would really like the ability to click through to a post straight from AS though
