Sound ad keeps trying to load?

The constant trying to finish loading/spinning so can't refresh/refresh button constantly flicking is still ongoing, worst in long threads.

Now on many pages I keep getting a few words of what I presume to be a spoken ad and music playing before it cuts out. No matter how long I have the page open, whatever it is never loads enough that I hear or find the ad that seems to be trying to play, so can't find the wretched thing and turn it off. Is this what is messing with the page loading?

I think it's the ad for the Beauty & The Beast film. It's been doing that to me for days now, very irritating.

It never loads long enough for me to hear what's being said Fru , I'll look out for that ad. It's driving me mad, the constant flickering and jumping of the refresh button on the top left of the screen for a start! Not to mention having to go back to 'threads I'm in' and re open a thread as the only way to refresh it. No other sites do it, only MN.

It happened to me again just now. Definitely a Disney ad for BATB - but, the same as you, it's just for a few seconds (so the ad isn't working properly anyway). I don't seem to have the same further problems as you - I'm on the desktop site on a laptop.
