I think Mumsnet Towers needs disability awareness training.

Yes a TAAT, the creepy complimenter one. Mumsnet towers seemed to miss the point about why some of us wanted it removed. It wasn't so much about the outdated language. It was more about the casual unchallenged linking of disability with creepiness.

I agree - although I did think that maybe it was an opportunity for some people to learn - don't mean to patronize.

As one of the 'offended', I felt that in the end I had the opportunity of explaining why I was so offended, and that IT IS A CLEFT LIP AND PALATE NOT A HARE LIP. Just sayin'
