Thread not loading properly

Have logged out and back in.
Have cleared my cache.

When I try to go to first or last page it takes me to page 5 Same if I go to the In the News section and click on the thread, directly to page 5 instead of page 1.

Using laptop, Windows 10, Firefox.

Could we ask how many posts per page you're viewing?

Good question Lorna.
In Talk Options it says it's set to 100 but I don't think that many posts load for me on one page, it seems less than that on the long threads. I can try to count them on a different thread if it helps?
'Flip this thread' isn't working properly either.

My account is weird. I de-regged a few months ago. When I tried to register again it just signed me in with my original address and password - I had expected to have to set up a brand new account - but my account had all the 'new' features such as not being able to view 1000 messages per page and so on.

That's odd! Can you try and reduce the number of posts per page to 25 and see if that helps?

What happens when you flip?

I've changed the setting to display 25 posts per page and the issue does seem to be resolved now.

problem has started again.

The thread is behaving itself until I post on it.

It shows pages 1-37.
What it's doing now is:
'Flip' - going to page 25.
Go back to the In the News topic, click on thread title, goes to page 25.
Click 'Last' to go to last page, it goes to page 25.

I've now changed my settings in Talk options to 'Most recent message first' for post display which is ok on this particular thread but I don't want it like that as default because I don't like to read a new thread upside down.
